St. Louis, MO – Essex Industries is selected to supply flame arrestors for the U.S. Army's MV75 Cheyenne Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft program, contributing to the fuel system architecture of one of the Army's next-generation vertical lift platforms.
Flame arrestors prevent ignition from propagating through fuel lines and tanks, a critical safety function in high-performance flight environments. Essex has manufactured fuel system components for aerospace and defense applications for more than 75 years, and brings that experience to its role on the Cheyenne program.
"We're pleased to support this program and confident in our ability to meet its requirements," said Robert Hale, Business Segment Manager, Aerospace & Defense at Essex Industries.
