Precision and Performance
Each Kearfott CSA offers integrated damping, centering feel force, and position feedback, enabling pilots to execute precise pitch-and-roll commands intuitively.
Optimized Position Feedback
The CSA features 6 channels (3 per axis) of high-performance Kearfott Variable Differential Transformer (VDT) position sensors. Rotary or Linear sensors (RVDTs and LVDTs) are selected based on system requirements. Sensors are integrated with channel-to-channel separation to provide the highest level of redundancy. Additionally, alternate position feedback options and adjustable channel counts are available to meet specific system requirements.

Kearfott engineers collaborate closely with pilots to optimize the variable force profile for each application. The cam-based centering mechanism, with adjustable gradients depending on deflection direction, offers limitless profiles.
