REGENT is building the seaglider, an all-electric vessel that delivers fast, low-cost, and resilient maritime mobility solutions. Seagliders combine the high-speed of conventional aircraft with the cost and convenience of a maritime platform. The seaglider is designed for personnel transport, contested logistics missions, maritime ISR, and MEDEVAC and CSAR operations. Capable of transporting 12 passengers or 3500 lbs of cargo, they feature three modes of operation: float, foil, and fly. In float mode, it uses differential thrust to give it superior maneuverability in tight environments and unmatched station keeping capabilities.Foil mode enables a unique and operationally relevant capability, as the seaglider can operate in various sea states and maintain maneuverability during high speed on-water operations. The vessel then transitions to flight mode, where it flies in ground-effect at 180mph for 180 miles. REGENT is a dual-use company, serving commercial and defense customers.
