Since establishing diplomatic relations on August 24, 1973, Finland and Korea have been expanding political, economic, and cultural exchanges and cooperation every year.

The Embassy of Finland in Korea performs the following duties :

• Promoting political and economic cooperation between Finland and Korea

• Observe the Korean government’s stance on EU -related issues and report the results to the relevant Finnish ministries .

• Consular services for Finnish citizens and visa issuance services for foreigners

• Spreading information about Finland within Korea
