About
Radar Absorbing Coating (RAC)
- Radar Absorbing Paint, also known as RAC, is a liquid-type electromagnetic absorber designed for the RF band. In general, both the external shape design and the application of absorbers help reduce reflected electromagnetic waves. RAC is one of the core military stealth technologies in the Republic of Korea and is considered one of the world's top secret technologies.
- Compared to solid-type Radar Absorbing Materials (RAM), RAC is easier to apply to weapon systems. ETL’s RAC is as lightweight as conventional paint, adding minimal weight to the target surface. This makes it particularly suitable for weapon systems with larger coating areas, where minimizing added weight is crucial to avoid degradation of mobility.
