About
ACF has commercialized a family of low cost, high temperature metallic carbide fibers based on a unique, low cost DCP™ which converts carbon fiber into a variety of high-performance fibers. The first fiber that ACF is commercializing is an alpha-silicon carbide/carbon (a-SiC/C) fiber trademarked as Fi-Bar™. Fi-Bar™ is disruptive as it offers the highest temperature and strength performance at the lowest cost point of any competing fiber reinforcement material on the market today.
