Flexible Primer

Elinor Coatings' Flexible Primer is a non-toxic, chromate-free, HAPs-free, low-VOC coating compliant with MIL-PRF-32239B, Type 2, Class 2, Grade 1. It offers excellent corrosion resistance for aluminum alloys, maintaining 40% impact resistance at room temperature and flexibility down to -51°C. Lab-tested for 2000 hours (following ASTM B117 standards) and field-proven for 416 days in corrosive environments, this primer effectively mitigates corrosion.
Magnashield
Elinor Coatings, LLC
MagnaShield is a one-component, low-temperature cured, phenolic epoxy hybrid sealant that is HAPs-free and has low VOC content. It is specifically designed for sealing MIL-DTL-32459 anodized magnesium substrates used in aerospace applications, such as helicopter gearboxes, and is compatible with epoxy primers and CARC topcoats.

Aurora does both lab and environmental field tests and verifies technologies designed to withstand the harshest environments and provide the highest performance for Arctic and other extreme weather readiness.
