Nautilus Defense develops and builds advanced textile and composite-integrated systems for monitoring high-value assets and their environments. Leveraging its functional composite yarn technologies, Nautilus integrates electrical, electronic, and electromagnetic features into fiber-based and fiber-reinforced materials without compromising their mechanical performance or survivability. These material-integrated systems present a novel means of augmenting the capabilities of mobile structures and systems without increasing their logistics footprint. Nautilus’s multidisciplinary team and hardware prototyping lab are designed to facilitate the rapid experimental development of these systems.
