At Tidal, we build aircraft to make air travel affordable and sustainable. Our first aircraft is Polaris, a 9-12 passenger hybrid-electric amphibious aircraft that will bring direct, affordable, and sustainable access into city centers and coastal communities. For the defense sector, Polaris will bring runway-independence with a small logistics footprint. Tidal has built and flown two 1/6-scale prototypes, secured 11 LOIs for purchase of aircraft representing 140+ aircraft and $900M+ in orders, earned a US Air Force R&D contract, and raised a $4M seed round. Tidal is now developing full-scale subsystems and targets first flight of a full-scale prototype in 2028.
